Website and Platform Terms

Version 3.0 · Last updated 15 October 2026 · Applies to new accounts from 15 October 2026 and to existing account holders from 16 November 2026

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

1.1 These Terms are issued by Euverify Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16146525), registered office 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom (Euverify Ltd). Euverify Ltd operates the websites euverify.com, app.euverify.com, gdpr.euverify.com and shop.euverify.com (the Sites) and the Euverify compliance platforms made available through them (the Platform), and is the contracting entity for accounts, subscriptions and purchases made through the Sites.

1.2Euverify Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 781168), registered office Unit 3D North Point House, North Point Business Park, New Mallow Road, Cork, T23 AT2P, Ireland (Euverify Limited) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Euverify Ltd. Euverify Limited is the entity established in the European Union that acts as EU authorised representative, responsible person and EU GDPR Article 27 representative for clients under the signed agreements described in clause 1.4. References to Euverify, we, us and our are to Euverify Ltd and, where the context requires, Euverify Limited.

1.3These Terms govern your access to and use of the Sites and the Platform, the creation and use of an account, and purchases made through the Sites. By accessing the Sites, creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites.

1.4Our representation and compliance services are provided only under a signed agreement, and that agreement, not these Terms, governs the service:

  • EU and UK authorised representative and responsible person services for products (including cosmetic products): the Authorised Representative and Responsible Person Agreement;
  • medical devices: the Device Mandate Agreement;
  • GDPR Article 27 representation in the EU and the UK: the GDPR Article 27 Representative Appointment Agreement;
  • packaging (PPWR), Cyber Resilience Act and extended producer responsibility services: the separate agreement for each service.

1.5Where a signed agreement and these Terms conflict, the signed agreement prevails for the service it governs.

1.6The following documents form part of these Terms: the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Refund Policy, the Data Processing Addendum, the Sub-processor List and the Restricted Products page, each as published on euverify.com and updated from time to time.

1.7The Sites and the Platform are provided for business use only. By using them you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business and not as a consumer, that you are at least 18 years old, and that, if you act on behalf of a company or other organisation, you have authority to bind it. References to you and your include that organisation.

2. Accounts

2.1To use the Platform you must create an account and provide accurate and complete registration details, including the legal name, address and registration number of your business, and keep them up to date.

2.2One account covers one manufacturer or organisation and the brands of that organisation recorded on the Platform. Group companies and affiliates require their own accounts unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2.3You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything done through your account, including by the users you invite. Tell us immediately at support@euverify.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

2.4Anything done through your account by a user you have authorised binds your organisation, including accepting an agreement, adding or removing products, and giving us instructions.

2.5We may suspend an account without notice where we reasonably believe it presents a security risk, is being used in breach of these Terms, or is being used for unlawful purposes.

3. Free trials, subscriptions and renewal

3.1We may offer a free trial of Platform access. Trial length and the price that follows are shown at sign-up. You may cancel during the trial without charge.

3.2Product-safety (authorised representative) plans are billed annually in advance. The subscription and the appointment begin on the date on which you sign the Authorised Representative and Responsible Person Agreement, and the annual fee is charged on that date even if you sign during a free trial.

3.3GDPR Article 27 plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout, and begin when the trial ends or when you sign the GDPR Article 27 Representative Appointment Agreement, whichever the agreement provides.

3.4Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date through your account or by written notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and the applicable signed agreement.

3.5The number of products or product families, territories and users included in each plan is described on the pricing pages. Use beyond the limits of your plan requires an upgrade.

4. Fees and payment

4.1Fees are those published on the pricing pages at euverify.com/pricing and euverify.com/gdpr/pricing at the time of your order or renewal, or as quoted to you in writing. Fees exclude VAT, which is added where chargeable according to your billing address.

4.2By subscribing you authorise us to collect the fees automatically on each due date by the payment method on your account (card or direct debit through Stripe, PayPal or another provider we make available). Keep a valid payment method on your account.

4.3We may change our fees. A change applies to you only from your next renewal and only after we have given you at least 60 days’ notice for annual plans, or 30 days’ notice for monthly plans, before the renewal date. You may cancel before the renewal date if you do not accept the change.

4.4If a payment fails or a sum is overdue we will send reminders. We may suspend your account if a sum remains unpaid 14 days after the due date and terminate it if the sum remains unpaid 30 days after the due date. We may charge interest and compensation on overdue sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4.5Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. We may suspend an account while an unfounded chargeback is open and recover the costs of the chargeback.

5. What the Platform does and does not do

5.1The Platform provides tools: a product register and document store, a declaration of conformity generator, label templates, a legislation and standards database, a record of processing activities builder, a data subject request inbox, and related features. The tools assemble documents from the information you enter and select. They do not determine the content of your documents, and any declaration generated is your own document, which you must verify and sign and for which you are responsible.

5.2Euverify is not a law firm, a regulatory consultancy, a notified body, an approved body, a testing laboratory or a certification body. Nothing on the Sites or the Platform, in our guides, checklists, legislation lists, reviews or correspondence, is legal, regulatory, technical or compliance advice. Obtain your own professional advice.

5.3Where we review documents you upload, we check that the documents we require in order to provide a service are present and appear complete. We do not verify their accuracy, authenticity or sufficiency and we do not assess whether your product complies with the law. A product shown on the Platform as “Documentation Complete” or “Accepted for Representation” has been accepted for representation on the basis of the documents supplied; that status is not a statement that the product is compliant or safe.

5.4We use AI-assisted tools, including models from the providers on our Sub-processor List, to help review and classify documents, extract data, translate and provide support. Decisions are confirmed by our staff. We do not use your documents or data to train AI models, and we use only providers whose terms prohibit training on our inputs. Outputs of AI-assisted tools may contain errors and must be verified by you before use.

5.5We give no warranty that any product complies with applicable law, is safe, is correctly classified, or will be accepted by any authority or marketplace, or that our legislation lists, checklists and templates are complete or current, although we use reasonable efforts to keep them so. Responsibility for the safety and compliance of your products, and for the accuracy of the information you provide to authorities, remains yours.

5.6Where a notified body or approved body is required by the legislation that applies to your product, arranging that assessment is your responsibility.

6. Your content and data

6.1You retain ownership of the documents, data and content you upload to the Platform (Your Content). You grant Euverify Ltd and Euverify Limited, and their sub-processors, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, analyse, translate and display Your Content, and to disclose it to competent authorities and as otherwise permitted by a signed agreement, for the purposes of providing the services, complying with law and exercising or defending legal rights, for as long as we are required or entitled to keep it.

6.2You are responsible for Your Content and warrant that you have the rights needed to upload it, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights or any law.

6.3Personal data contained in Your Content is processed under our Data Processing Addendum. Do not upload special category personal data unless it is necessary for the service and lawful for you to share it.

6.4We may use anonymised and aggregated data derived from use of the Platform to operate, improve and develop our services.

6.5You may download Your Content at any time while your account is active and for 30 days after it closes.

7. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  • use the Sites or the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose, or upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, malicious or harmful;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Sites, the Platform, other accounts, or our systems, or interfere with their security or operation;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, copy, scrape, or create derivative works from the Platform or its content, except as permitted by law;
  • resell, sublicense or use the Platform to provide services to third parties, or share an account between organisations;
  • use the name, address, logo or trade marks of Euverify Ltd or Euverify Limited, or describe Euverify as your representative, except as expressly permitted by a signed agreement (see clause 9);
  • generate or use any declaration, label, certificate or badge from the Platform in a way that misleads consumers, marketplaces or authorities;
  • use automated tools to access the Sites in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on them.

8. Intellectual property

8.1The Sites, the Platform, their software, databases, templates, checklists, guides, designs, text and other content, and the EUVERIFY name, logo and registered trade marks, belong to Euverify Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

8.2Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your internal business purposes for the duration of your subscription.

8.3Guides, templates, checklists and other materials we publish may be used for your own business purposes but may not be republished, resold or redistributed.

8.4Any feedback or suggestions you give us may be used by us without restriction or payment.

9. Use of Euverify’s name, address and marks

9.1You may use the name, address and contact details of Euverify Ltd or Euverify Limited on a product, its packaging or documentation, on a product listing or website, or in a privacy notice, only where a signed agreement expressly permits it, only for the products or processing it covers, only while that agreement is in force, and only in the form we provide.

9.2When an agreement ends, or a product is removed from representation, you must stop using our details for it within 30 days, must not place further units on the market bearing our details, and must remove any Euverify trust badge and any reference to Euverify from your website and privacy notices.

9.3Any other use of our name, address, logo or marks is unauthorised. We may require it to stop, may inform marketplaces, authorities and the public that we are not your representative, may charge our published fees for the period of unauthorised use as provided in the applicable agreement, and may take legal action, including for trade mark infringement.

9.4We may publish a register of the manufacturers and products we represent and may confirm to any authority, marketplace, customer or other person whether we represent a particular business or product.

10. Availability, support and changes to the Sites

10.1We use reasonable efforts to keep the Sites and the Platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may suspend access for maintenance, security or legal reasons, giving notice where practicable.

10.2Support is available through the help centre and chat in your account and by email to support@euverify.com. We may add, change or withdraw features of the Sites and the Platform from time to time, provided that we do not materially reduce the services you have paid for during a paid period.

11. Digital products (shop.euverify.com)

11.1Templates, checklists and other digital products purchased through shop.euverify.com are licensed to you for use in your own business. They may not be resold, shared or republished. They are provided as general templates and are not advice; adapt them to your products and obtain professional review where appropriate.

11.2Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, as set out in the Refund Policy.

12. Third-party services and links

12.1The Sites use third-party services (including payment, e-signature, analytics and support tools) listed in our Sub-processor List and Cookie Policy, and may link to third-party websites, marketplaces and regulatory portals. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

13. Disclaimers

13.1The Sites, the Platform and their content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13.2Information on the Sites (including guides, blog posts, legislation summaries and comparison pages) is general information, may be out of date, and is not a substitute for advice on your products or your business.

14. Liability

14.1Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

14.2Subject to clause 14.1, we are not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any loss of profit, revenue, sales, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings; for any loss arising from the suspension or removal of listings or accounts by a marketplace, from the action of any authority, or from the detention of goods; for any loss arising from reliance on any output of the Platform or on information published on the Sites; or for any indirect, consequential or special loss.

14.3Subject to clause 14.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your use of the Sites, the Platform and any account in any 12-month period, other than under a signed agreement, is limited to the fees you have paid to us in that period or, if none, £100. Liability under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement.

15. Your indemnity

15.1You will indemnify Euverify Ltd, Euverify Limited and their officers, employees and contractors against all losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, from Your Content, from your unauthorised use of our name, address or marks, or from any claim by a third party relating to your products, your processing of personal data or your use of the Sites or the Platform.

16. Suspension and closing your account

16.1You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by written notice. Closing your account cancels any subscription with effect from the end of the current paid period, subject to the applicable signed agreement.

16.2We may suspend or terminate your access to the Sites and the Platform with immediate effect if you breach these Terms, fail to pay sums due after the reminders described in clause 4.4, use the Sites unlawfully, or expose us to a risk of liability or serious reputational harm, or where a competent authority so requires. We may also terminate for convenience on 60 days’ notice with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the remainder of the paid period.

16.3Documentation that we are legally required to retain as authorised representative, responsible person or GDPR Article 27 representative is kept for the statutory period regardless of account closure, as set out in the applicable agreement (normally ten years for technical documentation, and the period stated in the GDPR Article 27 agreement for GDPR records). Other account data is deleted within six months of closure, or earlier on request, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.

17. Changes to these Terms

17.1We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on the Sites with a new “Last updated” date and version number, keep previous versions available on request, and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or through the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you do not accept a material change you may close your account before it takes effect. Continued use of the Sites after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.

17.2Changes to a signed agreement are made only in accordance with that agreement’s own variation clause.

18. General

18.1These Terms, the documents referred to in clause 1.6 and any signed agreement are the entire agreement between you and Euverify in relation to the Sites, the Platform and the services, and supersede all previous website terms.

18.2You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer them to a group company or a successor to our business.

18.3If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. No failure or delay in enforcing any provision is a waiver of it.

18.4Euverify Limited may enforce the provisions of these Terms expressed for its benefit under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Otherwise no third party has any right to enforce these Terms.

18.5Notices to us should be sent to info@euverify.com (legal notices marked “Legal Notice”) with a copy by post to our registered office. We will send notices to the email address registered on your account.

18.6These Terms are written in English, and any translation is for convenience only.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

19.1These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country in which you are established.
