Do I need a Responsible Person in the EU or the UK?
Yes. If you don’t have an entity in the UK, you must appoint a UK Responsible Person.
If you don’t have an entity in the EU, you must appoint a Responsible Person based in any EU country.
To sell across both the EU and UK, you need two separate Responsible Persons, as the UK is no longer part of the EU after Brexit.
Customers within either region can freely purchase your products, so dual representation ensures full legal coverage.
Can Euverify act as both my EU and UK Responsible Person?
Yes. Euverify is registered in Ireland (for the EU) and England (for the UK) as two legally separate entities.

What is a Product Information File (PIF)?

What is CPNP and SCPN notification?
Every cosmetic must be registered before sale —
- CPNP for EU cosmetics
- SCPN for UK cosmetics
Once your PIF and CPSR are complete, Euverify submits these notifications on your behalf to ensure your products are legally listed.
